The power of the Monado within your New 3DS
Nintendo of Japan announced a snazzy pair of themed faceplates to complement the upcoming release of “Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.”
“Xenoblade Chronicles 3D” is one of the first exclusive title that takes advantage of the New Nintendo 3DS hardware. Players that missed out on the initial release, on the Wii, will get another opportunity to experience one of the finest JRPG of the seventh generation — at a more reasonable price. Aside from the fact that this re-release is coming out relatively soon, Big-N managed to elevate the level of hype even further within the Monolith Soft community, due to the shocking reveal found below:

As you can see from the photo, the plates are in a crimson red color and it features the main protagonist’s weapon called the Monado. The symbols for the legendary sword arts along with the punchy phrase “Power of Monado” is present on the bottom plate as well. This fashionable accessory runs for 2,000 yen (approximately $16.84 USD) and it will be launching on April 2 — which happens to be the same day the game releases in Japan.
“Xenoblade Chronicles 3D” will reach the North American shelves on April 10. However, the cover plates will likely remain in Japan — or possibly might come to Europe — due to the absence of the smaller variant of the New Nintendo 3DS in U.S.
