Test-driving for the new race circuit
Nintendo has teased a portion of “Mario Kart 8’s” downloadable content, which featured the protagonist of “The Legend of Zelda” series, riding his new Master Cycle bike.
For quite some time now, players were able to pre-order the upcoming DLC for the eighth installment of the popular kart-racing franchise. However, the company has been rather tight-lipped and sparse on details for the upcoming package. The months of silence have finally been broken by Nintendo UK, when they teased their Twitter followers today with this tweet below:

Back in Aug. 27, 2014, Nintendo announced new characters, stages, and colors for Yoshi and Shy Guy that will incorporated into the “Mario Kart 8” universe. Fast-forwarding several months later, Mario Kart enthusiasts can look forward to the new content, found in the “Legend of Zelda x Mario Kart 8” digital package.
The former portion of “Mario Kart 8’s” DLC will be available in November, whereas, the latter “Animal Crossing x Mario Kart 8” pack will be slated sometime in 2015.
