On Aug. 28, the scheduled Nintendo Direct unraveled a slew of groundbreaking news toward the Japanese audience. Breaking news such as the announcement of the New Nintendo 3DS was revealed that morning.
During the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced that a remake of “Xenoblade Chronicles” is currently in development and will be releasing for the New 3DS.
“Xenoblade Chronicles” featured a massive world for the players to become immersed and get lost in. Since “Xenoblade” pushed the envelope with its breathtaking scenery, fantastic atmosphere, and impressive draw distance — this game will remain as an exclusive for the New Nintendo 3DS. The remake would not be possible without the new 3DS, thanks to its new CPU.
Iwata proposed that “Xenoblade Chronicles” is the first exclusive game to take advantage of the New Nintendo 3DS’s components. He also insisted that there will be more exclusive software that’s destined for the New 3DS as well.
